2019 Battle of Bound Brook Living History Weekend

Experience the Annual Battle of Bound Brook Living History Weekend on April 13-14, 2019 at the Abraham Staats House in South Bound Brook, New Jersey and learn about the American War for Independence. The Battle of Bound Brook Living History Weekend activities include: 18th Century Soldiers’ Encampment and Street Battles, Ceremony at Old Presbyterian Graveyard, Sunday Buffet Breakfast, Historic House tours, featured speakers and more.

Watch as the re-enactors recreate the skirmishes that originally occurred between the armies of Major General Benjamin Lincoln under General George Washington and the troops of British General Lord Charles Cornwallis on April 13, 1777, in what is today Bound Brook and South Bound Brook.

The two-day Battle of Bound Brook Living History Weekend program explores the American Revolutionary War during the timeframe of the Battle of Bound Brook and Middlebrook encampments that occurred between 1777–1779. Learn about and experience this important period in New Jersey’s and America’s Revolutionary War history.
